When we left for vacation, I was determined to get the best out of my time off. I started 2 week challenge wit Mr. Bookieboo and got myself moving. Being around two active kids has its perks – you gotta move around fast. Lucky me, they are good nappers and I get few hours to myself. Between hours in the waterpark and climbing structures and the actual workouts, my muscles were sore and it felt good. Well, couples days later I found out myself slacking off and (what do you know?) looking for excuses to relax. I guess, vacation is a vacation. On top of things – our internet connection vanished for couple days, so we were forced to unwind (while attempting to check my email every half hour). We came back on Friday, but I am still wearing waterpark wristband today. I guess that mean the vacation went well.
Question of the week:
How does your family support your weight loss efforts?
My husband is amazing – he has been very constructively optimistic through my weight gain-loss journey, but when it comes to my parents, it is more like “You don’t eat anything – have a piece of cake, one piece will not hurt you…” Do you remember “Are you vegetarian?.. I’ll make some lamb” from My Big Fat Greek Wedding? Yeah, something like that…

Amazing support from hubby can sometimes ease parent misunderstanding. Glad you have a great husband that loves you very much.
Sounds like a fun vacation! and my MIL is the same way– EAT EAT! it's hard. I'm glad your husband is supportive!
Hahaha, the mangia! mangia! mentality is SO hard to work against/with, but at least your hubs is on board!
Sounds like you had a great vacation. That is too bad about your parents, happy to hear that your hubby is very supportive
