Don't Rock the Boat Game - out of box

I think my whole family fell in love with penguins after the Madagascar movie. Who doesn’t remember the crazy and a bit suicidal penguins. Get ready for a whole new kind of penguin action with Do Not Rock the Boat game. This game includes a boatload of penguins – literally a boat and a 16 penguins. Obviously this game is fun for the whole family and it is very easy to learn.

How to Play this Game

Set the boat on the waves, so it gets rocking and start the game by taking turns and putting penguins on the boat. Trust me, it is more difficult that it seems. The game is over when the penguins fall off the boat. The game is quite easy to assemble and only takes few minutes to get it ready for the play.

Game for 1

This game can also be fun for one player. I played on my own trying to figure how many I pirate-penguins I can stack on the boat and it is just addictive – I kept trying over and over again. It’s a great challenge and I honestly wish I had this kind of  game growing up, because being the only child I spent plenty of time waiting for my parents to play with me.

Great Game for the Little Hands

This game could also be a lot of fun for the younger kids. I took the wave out and positioned the boat on the flat surface. My 3 year old loved stacking the penguins on the boat. It is easier for the little hands and still lets them practice their stacking skills. It is great for developing hand-eye coordination. However, this game is suggested for kids 5+ and includes small parts (aka penguins).

Personal Game Tip

If you plan to play this game with your kids and counting on showing off your mad skills, I suggest you practice a bit ahead of time, because it’s not easy to keep the balance on the penguin ship.
