Mamavation Monday

A year ago at the very end of May I went for a bike ride with my family and we got caught in the rain. Well, to be exact we got plastered by super huge rain. The kids were nicely covered in the trailer and were absolutely dry unlike us – we were so soaking wet. It was a little bit terrifying, but at the end of the day I was so excited I had this experience. And that’s when I said – next year – rock climbing or kayaking.

A year has passed and here we are

It was surprisingly easy and I can see myself doing it again. I guess that leaves the next year for mounting climbing.

I have been avoiding the scale. Honestly, I can’t remember to get on the scale before breakfast, and I feel by my clothes that I am most likely gaining weight.

I MIGHT BE considering taking a part of a road bike marathon. I am a trail rider, so this would be something different, but the shortest distance is 30 miles.

I have been afraid of the scale too, but we are more than numbers. So as long as you are active I think you would be ok

  2. I want to go kayaking so bad!! Hopefully one day, when the girls’ are bigger.

More important then the #’s is how you FEEL and what your doing.., Kayaking sounds great, and what a upper body work out!
Keep it up – you can always check the scale another time =)

    Have a great week!

  5. I’ve always wanted to try kayaking too! It looks like fun! I think you should try the bike ride, even if you can’t make it the whole way it’s better than not trying at all!! But, I think you can do it :)
