I had the longest working week ever – I worked 12 days on a row – 5 working days, 3 days at the show (Sat through Monday), and back in the office Tuesday through Friday. I couldn’t believe how I exhausted I was – I couldn’t pull myself together to do anything at all. There was no time to cook, so we had take outs all week long. The only thing I could be proud of was taking one 20 minute lunch walk.
Well, I think I am back. I have better food ready, a list of exercises I can do at my desk, and I big filter bottle.
Mamavation asks: How do you motivate yourself to move if you don’t feel like working out?
My biggest problem is over thinking it – if I start thinking about working out, I will talk myself out of it, find excuse to sit down, and will figure out how to stay on my chair for the entire evening. Best way of dealing with the stinking thinking is just doing it – I literally tell myself “LALALALA” and just keep doing what I was doing.
