Volo Museum

(Guest post by Cristina of Taylor Made Momma)

So for all intents and purposes we live in the middle of no where.  It takes just 20 minutes to get to the closest grocery store that doesn’t charge $5 for a gallon of milk and there just isn’t too much to do.  I love to take the kids to museums on days off of school but we are over an hour away from Chicago, Milwaukee, or Rockford and its hard to make that drive with three kids.   That is except for the Volo Auto Museum!

The Volo Auto Museum is only about 20 minutes from our house and has turned out to be a great place for us to visit.  My husband is a HUGE car guy and when I told him this weekend that I had never been he decided it we needed to make the trip today.

The boys really got a kick out of some of the fun TV and movie cars that they had on site.  Everything from the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine, to the actual car that was used in the movie, to the GhostBusters Car and KITT.
