Here are some of our best tips to ensure your baby shower is not only fun but is also a truly unique event.
Pick a Theme
Having a theme is a great way to make sure your party look is cohesive while making it still fun. A great tip is to coincide the topic of the shower with a theme of the new baby’s room if the parents-to-be have picked it out yet. You can throw a Dr. Seuss themed shower, and the new parents can use some of the décors of the party for their new baby’s room. This also might be an excellent way to make keepsakes.
Ask the Mom-to-Be
Many people will throw a shower without ever consulting the guest of honor. Ask her if she prefers an afternoon shower or a late morning shower and if she would like to do any activities or games. Putting a shower based on the Mom-to-be’s likes is a great way to make her feel special. This day is about her! Once the baby arrives mom won’t have the time to think much about herself – her world will start revolving around her bundle of joy.

Any expected mother has a wish list. I remember putting a lot of thought into all my baby registry gadgets – I researched the cribs, strollers, car seat – you name it. However, while shopping for the latest baby monitor, do not forget about the essentials – things like diapers and wipes.
