Buying Christmas gifts is not always easy, especially if you are trying to keep it a surprise and don’t quite know what to buy for a biker in your life. I really hope we can help you with few ideas.

Under $20

  • Skratch Labs electrolyte: the only drink that doesn’t make my stomach churn
  •  Hudz Grips that match the color scheme.
  •  Polar Bottle water bottle is hands down the best one I have. It keeps my drinks cold and they are BPA free, so it’s good for the body and mother earth.
Under $30
  • Clif SHOT Gels or Clif SHOT Blocks.

Under $50

  •  Cateye makes great wireless bike computers that can track cadence, average speed, max speed, and time.

 Under $100

  •  Handlebars: Salsa Cycles makes a great narrow handlebar that fits me perfectly.
  •  Jerseys: Moxie Cycling has some adorable cycling jerseys that are flirty and fun.
  • Bike shorts: Whomever initially invented women’s bike shorts is ingenious, not to mention bibs. After two kids, ah-hem, I need a little bit of extra coverage, and bibs are flattering and don’t pinch at the waist like regular bike shorts do. I’m partial to Pearl Izumi, Shebeest, Primal Wear or Skirt Sports for bombing around town. I love commuting to work in a dress with a pair of cute bike shorts underneath.
  • Vest: Layering is critical in Colorado, so I have my Pearl Izumi vest and a pair of arm warmers on me at all times.
  • Seat: Nowadays, women’s-specific bikes have rockin’ seats from the get-go, although I am also partial to Terry Bicycles saddles. A happy butt makes for a happy ride.
  • Want to be a part of something bigger? Get a woman in your life a gift of Venus De Miles bike ride in Colorado or Illinois.

Under $250

  • Sidi cycling shoes – worth the investment.
Teresa Robbins
An avid cyclist, Teresa also knew she wanted to create something to encourage women to get outside on their bikes and support a meaningful cause – Venus de Miles was born. Since its inception, Colorado’s first all-women’s road ride, which is orchestrated by and benefits Greenhouse Scholars, has raised $380,981 for the organization.

Great post…this would be super helpful if I were bicycling, but that’s not in the cards right now due to health issues.

Again, I’ve never ridden a bike in my life- BUT I think the Hudz grips are a really cool way to accessorize one’s bike, and an affordable gift option for any biker.

What a neat Holiday Gift guide focusing on one specific thing. This is great for someone who is trying to buy something for a friend or family member that is a fan of Biking.

Maybe to round out the lowmprices in the gift guide, I love this kickstarter that I just saw that is pitching a way to attach headphones to the outside of a helmet for riding with music AND road sounds: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/119104919/bipo-music-for-your-helmet
