Does buying en expensive bike or pro-gear make you a better rider? Not really

Is it possible that wearing a professional uniform, would make you feel like you belong? Hmm, the one could argue

falloff-bike

I honestly don’t know what some of you would think is worse – getting overdressed and overbranded or riding your bike in the same sweat pants and T-shirt you wear for a jog (I am myself would do the second). Bike fashion is a great thing, but it is umm… it is secondary, because what comes first is the actual riding.

It is not always about the bike, most of the time it is about the motor

I tend to enjoy getting into the sports fashion, like running. If it’s running season I generally buy new kicks, socks, and clothing for it! I am hoping to start back up soon now that the pregnancy is over.

Oh that is so true! You can have the best gear in the world, but you aren’t fit, it’s not going to make much difference!`

That’s a tough call, I think those in uniforms ten to be more visible and safer…

Yeah, I have never understood the whole bike fashion thing. All I need are gloves and and a pair of bike pants to cushion my toosh!

I think you are right! It doesn’t matter how you dress, even though I have found some fitness clothes are even more comfortable than my sweats. It’s all about moving and getting off that couch regardless of your bike or your clothes.

My husband tends to be a bit “branded” on his bike, but not too crazy. I could care less what I wear as long as I am comfortable. No matter what, being on the bike and moving is great regardless of what you are wearing.

Definitely want good gear, it doesn’t matter any more what I am wearing. Personally I like branded clothes more as compared to normal.
