The work of mom never stops, but when does it start?
For some it starts with trying hard to get pregnant – trying to keep the romance going on the ovulating schedule, fertility treatments, and months (or years) of uncertainty.
For some it starts with a little stick tells you THE news.
For some it might start with hearing the heartbeat for the very first time, with the ultrasound or the weird butterfly feeling in the stomach.
For some it really doesn’t become real until the first cry in the delivery room or even the moment when you are left alone with the baby for the very first time.
Each of my three pregnancies was very different: the first pregnancy included two years of trying and fertility treatments and incredibly easy delivery, the second one was a bit ahead of plan (we wanted to go for the number 2 soon after), easy pregnancy, and a difficult delivery. The third one took us totally by a surprise.

Every single thing comes with good and not so good, doesn’t it? 🙂 I think with being a mom you tend to remember the good way more than you do anything else though, and a big hurrah for that one. 🙂

Both of my pregnancies were very different. The second one was much easier as far as the birth but I had terrible morning sickness.
Dee Mauser says
My pregnancies were all different. With the first I was sick most of the pregnancy and lost weight in the first trimester. In my second pregnancy I began bleeding early in my last trimester and had to take it easy. With my last I had placenta previa and was supposed to have complete bed rest but luckily the placenta moved and everything was ok from then on.
