It is incredibly exciting to bring home a brand new baby, isn’t it? If you have ever gone through this experience you know how both scary and exciting it feels – the first night, the first bath, finding the right bottle, looking for the pacifier baby would love, but I never though that the choice of wipes would be a problem.

Somehow wipes seemed like a no-brainer choice… until now. At the blogging conference last year I picked up a pack of wipes. Didn’t really need it at the time, but as I was getting the nursery corner ready here it was – WaterWipes. These were the first wipes we use for my baby boy and everything was perfect.

A few days later at night I had to change a diaper, but since I was in my room, I went for the wipes I had there – the same brand I used for years before and let me tell the things didn’t go well at all – my baby screamed like I poured acid on his butt and I felt like the worst mother in the world. That is when I realized that there a definite difference between two types of wipes – the ones with 20 lines of ingredients and the one that one that has two – water and a grapefruit seed extract. Grouchy-Baby

Did you know that newborn babies’ skin is 5 times thinner than adults? That is why WaterWipes are the only wipes that would work for nay infant. With no harsh ingredients, these chemical free wipes saved my baby bottom from a rash and will help any baby to keep the bottom clean naturally.

WaterWipes, a premier European brand, is a chemical free baby wipe that contains only two ingredients, 99.9% pure Irish water and 0.1% grapefruit seed extract.

Both durable and effective without any of the harmful chemicals found in other baby wipes, WaterWipes proves a safer, natural option for the little ones.

To be perfectly honest, I don’t usually trust travel pouches of wipes with a sticky closure, because, let’s face it, we all have seen wipes that dry out before we are done with the pack. However, WaterWipes surprised me – this is the last wipe and it is as moist as the first was in this pack. Actually, the company suggests that an open pack will remain moist for up to 3 months and the closed one will keep its properties up to two years.

Here is another news – unlike many other wipe brands,WaterWipes are not interfolded. This allows for the sterile environment within the package to be maintained.

Needless to say, for the last 4 months the only wipes I have used are the WaterWipes – I buy them online and at the local Babies “R” Us store.

Look for the WaterWipes at top Babies “R” Us stores across the country from May and grab a few packs while they are running  their Buy 2 packs for $6 (usually $3.99 for a 1 pack!)

I saw these at the store the other day and was curious about them! I hate hate hate when their little bums are sore and the “other” wipes seem to burn them, it’s horrible! I always go for a washcloth and warm water, but for on-the-go these would be perfect!
