Have you ever felt like you were on the middle of the Jurassic Park in your home? Today’s Halloween costume will help you embrace the dinosaurs in your kids. Joking! I wish my kids would be soft and fluffy all the time, but let’s get real – they can be pretty destructive!
For the Dinosaur costume, you will need a lot of green paper, a hat, stapler, and some adhesive tape.
Dino Tail
Decide how long do you want the dinosaur’s tail to be. I used three 8.5 x 11 sheets of paper. Tape them together to create a long strip. Fold it in half and cut the triangles off the top to create the spiky look. Here you have a part of the headband and a long tail.
For the rich look glue, two strips together – your dino tail will look super professional.
If you have extra time, create a separate headband, but since I was in a hurry, I just stapled it to a hat.
Dino Claws
For the dino claws, outline your hand on the piece of paper and draw a bigger claw around the handprint to resemble a claw. Measure a piece of paper big enough to wrap around your hand and tape it to the claw. Easy to put on – easy to take off!
