Chicken Cacciatore

Sharing is caring!

This is one of those shortcut recipes that actually takes hours to make, but requires minimal work on your end. Yes, this is the time to pull out your slow cooker once again to create a fancy dish that looks like something you would expect to get at the restaurants, except you don’t actually have to pay $20 a plate.

However, you will need help from a box – a Kraft Recipe Maker box. As I discovered recently, they have quite the selection of different entries – from Pannini to the pot roast (and they are not paying me to say any of this – LOL).

Serving tonight –

KRAFT RECIPE MAKERS Chicken Cacciatore

You will need:

  • 1 pkg.  of KRAFT RECIPE MAKERS Chicken Cacciatore
  • 2 lb.  small boneless skinless chicken breasts and thighs
  • 1 green pepper, cut into strips
  • 1/2 lb.  sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 3 cups  rotini pasta, uncooked

Add the sauce packet to the slow cooker, follow with chicken and vegetables. Coat the chicken in sauce. Top the dish with cooking sauce and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Cook pasta according to the directions on the box (skip the salt) and serve it with chicken. And to keep you stomach extra happy, add a pretty salad.

I love simple meals and this looks so easy and yummy. I will have to try it, though I may sub out a veggie for the pasta since I can’t have pasta
