Thank You Driveshop and Toyota for providing me with this car and helping me experience
the drive beyond the minivan. Yes, it was free of charge, but the reality is all mine.
Dear Husband,
We’ve been married for a while (almost 16 years, but who is counting). We have three crazy children that are a perfect blend of us, a house that fits our big family, a minivan that is perfect for our cross country road trips. Everything seemed just right, BUT…
I think – you need a new car!
While I enjoy the large minivan that fits just about anything, I often dream about driving a smaller car onto the parking lot or the highway. When we go on a date night, how much do you love parking a minivan in front of the restaurant? I would rather walk out of something that doesn’t scream – WE HAVE LOTS OF KIDS!
Sometimes it is just nice to have a car that fits you at the moment. The car that bathes me with a luxury of a GPS navigation, Bluetooth technology, blind spot protection and leather seats that make me feel happy. Believe it or not, some days all I need is 20 minutes of XM Radio to disconnect from the reality. Periodically all I crave is a night out with the girls outside of my minivan life. Once in a while, all I need is to feel sporty on the road.
Why do I think you will love 2017 Toyota Rav4?
I only drove Toyota Rav4 for a week, but now I can’t stop thinking about it. At first, I wasn’t sure I could handle this much technology packed into one little car, but as soon as I put it in reverse, it told me that I should just chill because there was a car approaching behind me. Who else besides you and my mother watches after me like this?
As soon as I got on the highway I stepped on the gas, and the car accelerated instantly only the small cars can – it wanted to go the places with me! It kept me entertained while I drove from Chicago to Milwaukee with the music I wanted to hear, updating me on the estimated time of arrival. It even let me know when I started sliding into the next lane!
Do you remember when I lost a car key once, and we spend the longest time looking for it in the snow? With the Toyota Rav4 I rarely even have to touch the car key. The door unlocks the minute I reach the handle, and it doesn’t need the key for driving – it can stay in my purse the entire time!
Let’s talk parking! I might not be a pro at parking a minivan, but a car like this is just asking to be parked. With the help of the parking guides on the rear view camera, you will be proud of my parking skills.
With a car like this, I know you won’t mind spending some time at the railroad crossing waiting for the freight train to crawl over the intersection. And I know for a fact your addiction to technology will be satisfied with the all the options Toyota Rav4 has to offer.
So what do you think about checking out car budget? I know you want to!

If anything will convince a husband to get a new car, it’s this ride. It’s super sharp!

I don’t think I have to convince my husband to get a new car. My husband is one of the biggest car people I know. I know he would love a car like this.

Rav4 sounds like a nice ride. I love the styling and the room. It’s actually surprising how much room is in there.

I love the Rav4! I test drove it last year when I bought my new car, but ended up going with the Highlander because it was bigger 🙂

We’re a family of five and we own a Toyota Rav4. It’s not as nice and swish as this one (it’s old) and it guzzles the diesel like no one’s business, but I do love it. 🙂

That looks awesome! I definitly need to upgrade to something more spacious. My little Altima just isn’t big enough anymore.

Oh I wish I had a car! Such a cool post, makes me wanna get one too but I live in London and cars are not helping much at all – traffic is much too bad for it!

My husband would take this note and absolutely go buy him a new car, because my husband has been dying for a truck. Haha. I cannot wait until we can have a new car. <3
