Easy Gluten Free Chocolate Crumble

Easy Gluten Free Chocolate Crumble is a delicious and easy to prepare gluten free dessert great to serve for dinner guests or as part of a family meal. This easy to make gluten free chocolate crumble is oat based so it is not only gluten free, but also flour free and egg free. Easy Gluten Free Chocolate Crumble combines fruit and chocolate, making it perfect gluten free dessert all year round.

Easy Gluten Free Chocolate Crumble

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup rolled oats (gluten free)
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 2/3 cup gluten free dark chocolate
  • 7 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 5 tablespoons Butternut squash
  • 8 apricots

Easy Gluten Free Chocolate Crumble cupcakesInstructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C)
  2. Chop of the dark gluten free chocolate into small pieces and combine it with the rolled oats and maple syrup in mixing bowl.
  3. Slice the apricots in half, removing the stones, the place in a shallow oven proof pot or pan. Then evenly pour over the squash.
  4. Place the pan on a moderate heat, and allow to gently simmer for 4 minutes, then add the raspberries to the mixture.
  5. Place the gluten free oat and chocolate mixture over the fruit mixture and place in the middle shelf of the over for 20 minutes, or until the fruit is soft and the oats are golden and crisp.
  6. Easy Gluten Free Chocolate Crumble is best served and eaten warm, delicious with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream or a drizzle of custard.
