Many store chains and internet based shops buy used games and if you think your gamer is done with the game – eliminate the clutter by selling it. - Wait a while.
Don’t buy the hottest game as soon as it comes out. You would be surprised what a difference a few months can make - Check out local library.
Our library has shelves of games for all gaming stations and my kids often check out games there for Wii and Xbox.
