Life can be tough in the house with two very competitive kids that are very close in age:

Silly-labeled-faces

– Is it yours or mine?

– I remember having one just like this. Why are you holding it?

– I always wanted to have a toy like this. Can I hold it? It’s unfair that you have it and I don’t. It is mine now!

– Give it back!

– Gimme!

– Maaaaaa!

Yeah, this house needs boundaries. Everything has to be labeled, stamped or engraved

This is the only sure way to make sure we know who owns what – we label everything!

A Car? You bet, because my daughter loves it as much as my son  does.

The important part is to make sure everything gets labeled as soon as it gets home. However, let’s be realistic, the minute I get home, I gets sidetracked by a thousand other things.Labeled-Game

My solution to a problem? A little app called Epson iLabel. I can fire it up on the way home, pick the style, size, and have it ready to go the minute when I get home?

What’s next? I press a button and this little machine gets all the info via Bluetooth and gives me the label I need right this second.

LW-600P portable label printer can print labels from a smartphone, tablet, PC or Mac. Print date labels for food items, QR code labels, or labels to organize cables. Create ribbons for gifts, or even labels with symbols or hand-written messages. Preview option will help me make sure I get what I ask for and the voice recognition for the smart phone makes it an easy project.

Connection Options

The battery-operated LW-600P can print wirelessly from iOS and Android devices, via Bluetooth. With the help of  the Epson iLabel app or other compatible apps and mobile device I can even create handwritten labels, iron-on labels, ribbons and more. This compact printer can also print from Windows® and Mac systems via a USB cable.

I don’t think I will ever run out of things to label simply because my kids keep finding reasons to argue and fight about things. Spoons? Plates? Car seats? Everything calls for its special label.

Surely thats encouraging the ‘mine’ trait, My girls are 20 months apart so their toys are very similar so it gets bought and it is put in shared toy boxes, in the room and they share. we dont have any of this its mine stuff because they need to share. Id much rather tackle it head on than prolong it so that as they get older they are forever saying no you cant have it its mine.

Haha, so cute- I would be labeling everything too- no more arguing! I love how you can put the little code and the images on them! This must make categorizing things in a practical manner very quick too!

The amazing thing about this is they can probably generate their own labels. I would let them know the can’t play with it until it is labeled. Smashingly easy idea!

I love it. Labeling helps so much – I could use something like this with all of my jars of canned stuff in the basement. I’m sure it would be much more efficient that my handwritten tags

Labeling tings in my house keeps me organized. I love how quickly you can print your labels from your printer.

Oh my gosh, I’m going to do this with my Epson Labeler! My two are exactly like this, they are one year apart so most days best of friends but still fight over “that’s mine” etc!

LOL great post LOVE this idea – too bad it was not around when my kiddos were little! Knowing my son he would have figured out how to use the label maker and marked EVERYTHING has his! LOL Love the kids nick names too! I could use this for other things though. What a great tool! Thanks for letting us know about it.

My husband would love this. I love the nicknames you gave your kids. What a great tool. I really need to organize our art supplies and could use this.

I could have used this awesome label maker this past weekend. I went into the garage looking for something and had no clue where it was because we have so many unmarked tubs and boxes. I am putting this on my Christmas wish list!

This would have came in handy when I was a kid. My brothers were always stealing everything from me!

I’ve always been a fan of Epson products. My first inkjet printer was a 6-color Epson and we used it forever!

The kids are adorable! I have so very many things in my home that need to be labeled, this would be great for me.

We have always had the problem of this is mine. My boys are 12 months apart and my girls are 6 years apart, but it is always the same.

Super handy when you need to label kids things for trips to daycare or school. And if you are trying label and organize closet containers, it would make it look nicer and save time.
