I received LISTERINE® Brand products and a Walgreens gift card from Johnson & Johnson
Healthcare Products Division of McNEIL-PPC, Inc. and
The Motherhood as part of my participation in the 21-Day Challenge.
All thoughts and opinions expressed in this post are my own.
You know what I hate and have hated since I was a kid? Trips to the dentist, because regardless of what I did, my dentist always had a lot to say about the condition of my teeth. Luckily, these days we have many tools that were non-existent then. Does it mean my kids are great at their dental hygiene
IN. MY. DREAMS.
Because playing computer games and watching TV is so much more important. That is why I thought it would be important for all of us to take LISTERINE 21 Day Challenge
Have you considered to be very good about something for 21 days? I have to tell you, being super good about dental hygiene for a whole three weeks is tough and it is a lot more difficult than simply yelling at the kids to go brush their teeth.
Was I perfect during the challenge?
I wish, but I did do my best and here is what I learned:
If I am too tired…
If I have not a minute to myself or almost sleep walking and cannot think straight – I skip brushing my teeth, but using a mouthwash is better doing nothing at all.
When it comes to kids dental hygiene, it is all about the packaging – Frozen mouthwash will take you a lot further than a No Name Bottle. A toothbrush with the character they like is less likely to get lost and might actually be used more often. Kids flossers might be more expensive, but it sure helps to get the job done.
If I realize half way to my son’s school, that I did manage to forget to brush my teeth, cool mint can carry me through a conversation with a teacher.
Whenever my kids do brush their teeth at night, they are more likely to also prepare their school outfits in the evening. Incredible? I know, right?
