Little Passports: India

Here is an average Sunday morning in my house. While I am trying to sneak an extra hour of sleep, the kiddos do just this – watch TV. Would that be a good time to change things up a bit and we have something perfect for the occasion.kids-sitting-watching-TV

With hundreds of subscriptions out there for every taste my daughter only has one – the Little Passports. Geography was never my strong side and I have no idea how I made it through this course in school with “B”. More reasons to give my daughter a proper introduction to geography – she loves every package she gets from the Little Passports, because every envelope is full of fun and educational information.

Today’s package had a return stamp “INDIA” and we couldn’t be more excited to learn more. We live in a very diverse community and finding out more about different countries is something my daughter loves doing.

As usual this envelope came with a letter from Sam and Sophia writing us all about their trip and hope to see a Bengal Tiger.

A pin that we used to find the pin on the map

Adorable picture – there is one in each envelope

And a cute kids menu from the Indian restaurant – the menu also included one of the traditional Indian dishes – we have to try it soon.

Our passport is now getting pretty full of country stamps, should we go back to the beginning?

This subscription really sounds like a great way to introduce children to other countries and cultures. Besides helping them with geography it hopefully will give them a better understanding and tolerance for others.
