It’s a new month and we got a new package from Little Passports in the mail. Guess who is excited to get a big hello envelope with her name on it? My daughter loves LOVES L-O-V-E-S getting mail, but since she is not responsible for any bills, she doesn’t get much incoming correspondence. But today is her lucky day, because the mailbox has a big yellow Little Passports Boarding Pass to Egypt.
This month Sam and Samantha, characters of Little Passports took us to the mysterious country of Egypt.
But before we get to our letter and activities, we have a few things we need to take care of first – our suitcase gets a brand new luggage tag and awesomely triangular sticker. It sure is starting to look like a real traveler’s suitcase,
And our awesome passport just earned another country stamp
I also have noticed that my daughter is becoming quite a pro at finding different countries and capitols on the map.
The letter from Sam and Samantha tells a fun story of their travel. Samantha surprised Sam with a trip to a new country and Sam had to guess where he is at. Would you be able to figure out what country you are in if you open your eyes on the middle of the desert.
And of course, our favorite part of the trip is the souvenir from the foreign country and this one was quite different
Egyptian pyramid!!! But that wasn’t the end of it – the pyramid came with a dig kit. The kids worked very hard on digging a treasure out of the pyramid, but we couldn’t possibly compete with daddy’s creative desire to get to the middle of it. His tool made the job much easier and soon we got our own Egyptian treasure.
We loved our Egyptian adventure and can’t wait for another month.
