My daughter is getting into the age, when she is starting to appreciate awesome things. And do you know what is awesome? Doll houses!!! Check it out!
This is one of those things I wish I had when I was a child. This is something I would look at and say “Looooovely”, but there is only one thing that stops me – DA PRICE. The good ones, like the one above, is well over $100. Not fun and my budget screams “NOOOO”!
But just before I gave up on my doll house dreams for good, I found this
Tiffany of Diva Locks figure out how to make this awesome doll house for $36. Did you hear me load and clear? 3-6-DOLLARS. It looks I could have my doll house after all (I mean a doll house for my daughter).

I am getting so excited – I wouldn’t mind to live in such house myself. I don’t do crochet, but I can think of alternatives – there are few furniture items I saw at the dollar store and some extra fabric can create perfect covers. I doubt mine will look as pretty, but I will do my best. Thank you, Tiffany.

Holy cow! That’s so awesome!!! I have two sons but they love my niece’s doll house. I might have to do this….and make it a “manly” doll house. Toooo cool!

I remember my first dollhouse. My grandmother worked for Fisher Price and bought me one of theirs. Hopefully when we have a second it will be a girl and I could have her father make one 🙂

I love this!! What a great idea…and I could probably turn it into some type of fort for my boy since his daddy probably wouldn’t allow a dollhouse. 🙂

This is very cool – I love it! We have one from pottery barn that is pretty boring – so maybe I can spruce it up!

Seriously!? And to think how much sturdier this would be then the plastic doll houses my daughter keeps getting and destroying with her Barbies! I know what my next craft project will be! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for sharing my post 🙂 I am so glad you found some inspiration from little ol’ me 🙂 This would totally work for a boy too, make it a cool Bat Cave, Transformer hang out, or Star Wars, whatever you’re little guy is into. Unfortunately for me my son is 10 so he doesn’t really play with action figures anymore 🙁 But I can’t wait to add so much more this doll house and that’s the best thing about it you can add more or re-design it all the time!
