The Wisconsin Dells is a great place to take your family to have an excellent adventure. There are museums, golf, amusement parks and so much more. The hardest thing about visiting the Wisconsin Dells is trying to figure out what to do and where to go. But don’t you worry because it is also home to some of the most fabulous family-friendly resorts. Here is our list of Wisconsin Dells family resorts that is a must see.
Wilderness Hotel and Golf Resort
Your children will amaze to see this place. It is the largest indoor waterpark in the world! With over 600 acres there is just no way your kids will ever get bored. They have a total of 8 water parks – 4 indoor and four outdoor. You can also go zip lining, play laser tag or drive around in their go-karts. This is my family’s all-time favorite place to spend a week.
In the summer, you can enjoy their Wilderland Park where you can take advantage of some summer grilling, playing volleyball or taking a stroll on their nature paths. You can even go back in time to their horse-drawn wagon rides taking in all the Wisconsin picturesque woods.
Chula Vista Resort
Another great indoor and outdoor water park, Chula resort is home to 27 exhilarating water slides with over six restaurants and bars open to 600 guest rooms. What makes this resort nice to come to is that meals are included with the lodging. Many prominent performers come to play here and house an 18-hole golf course. There is so much to do here both the summer and winter. If you are looking for a thrill, try their Flyan Mayan Up Hill Water Roller Coaster. It is the fastest and longest uphill water rollercoaster in the world!
Cliffside Resort and Suits
If you are looking to capture nature and enjoy all the beauty that Lake Delton has to offer, staying at the Cliffside Resort and Suits is where it is at! This is for the family who just really wants to enjoy nature and all it has to offer. Spend the day fishing or hiking. You can also swim right in Lake Delton to cool off during those warm summer months. While it is only a few miles away from theme parks if you do choose to go, it is quite and may make for a more desirable escape!
